Today, I Thought About Getting a Tattoo

Had a good training session today, mainly because I got the chance to practice my kicks with the Burger King. For some strange reason, I lack the foot-eye coordination to pull off a proper "switch" (A switch is where you change your stance by changing your foot position, bringing your left foot back). Many times I spun completely off the ground Liu-Kang Mortal Kombat style.

As sweat was pouring down my face and as I gazed into the mirror, I couldn't help thinking what I would like with some rad tattoos on my bulging biceps. To be fair, most of the guys who do Muay Thai are certified "badasses"equipped with tats that only make them look more intimidating and scary than they already are.

The way I see it, there are only a few possible outcomes to me getting tatted up:

Scenario A: I look like a complete fool and become "that guy" with the pink lips on his neck. (Think Kenyon Martin, look him up.)
Scenario B: I look awesome and gain an incredible amount of Street Credibility. This is the best possible scenario as it would help move along my budding rap career.
Scenario C: I chicken out half-way through because of the pain and am left with a half-sentence quote like "Impossible is..." or "When there's a will, there's..." This would inevitably lead to joke after joke.

Right there, as I pondered each permutation of possible outcomes I immediately used my better judgement and closed the book on this whole tattoo business..until.....

I saw Carmelo Anthony with a Warner Brothers logo tattooed on his shoulder during the Knicks game...

CARMELO HAS A "THAT GUY" TATTOO!! If it's good enough for 'Melo, then it could be good enough for me. Oh the crazy things that go on in my head.

Peace & Love,
MKP
